July 2nd Day 3 VBS

VBS DAY 3
HOTN PRIMARY SCHOOL

It was a very hot and humid day, but
the students were enthusiastic to begin their morning with loud, exuberant praise and worship music.
We could tell that the buddies were becoming a bit tired after giving their all to create a fun and meaningful VBS for the kids camping at the school. Ministry can be draining!
In the background but definitely worth mentioning are the mamas that swept the leaves and debris from the school grounds every morning, and the mamas that made three meals a day for the kids, the buddies, and us. This community really came together to make this great VBS a huge success.
After worship time, our morning shifted to a few minute-to-win-it games. The morning teaching was on hospitality and trusting and obeying God. We completed the skit about Abraham and Sarah, played crazy field games, and broke for lunch.
After the break, there was another praise and worship time, teaching on evangelism, and a
quick craft project before heading to the lake for baptisms!
All of us- kids, buddies, and our team, about 120 of us- witnessed five young people obediently follow Jesus in baptism in Lake Tanganyika! God is so GOOD!
