Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be part of a Family Ministry where kids young and old are “dragging” their parents to attend, where kids learn biblical truths and are excited about doing so?

Our Family Ministry provides a place where families are assured that it is a fun, safe and biblically grounded ministry where children can be equipped for life. Not only are the kids equipped but the parents as well. Our team believes in giving our parents every opportunity to be the leading spiritual influence in their child’s life. At SVCC - Family comes first!

We offer Sunday programs, midweek programs, summer programs, and family events throughout the year. Every program we offer is designed to build your child's relationship with God and strengthen their understanding of Him.

We are invested in The Church of the Next Generation, that's why our Sunday programs utilize Orange Curriculum.

About Orange curriculum

Children are the future! It is our mission to come alongside families and support parents as they raise their children to know and love Christ. We instill a Biblical worldview in creative, fun and age appropriate ways.

The basic philosophy that drives Orange, is that the combined effort of the Family (yellow) and the Church (red) accomplishes much more than just the efforts of each entity individually. Newcomers Virtual Tour Check-In Process

Nursery - Pre-kindergarten

First impressions are important. That’s why we use a teaching strategy that helps give preschool children a first impression of their loving Father. The curriculum is simple and fun, repeating one basic truth about God all month long, using worship, fun games, engaging activities, and small group time. Parents are given a “Small Talk” handout to help them connect with their two-to-five year old during the week. They are also given a “Parent Talk” handout that prompts parents to pray for their toddler.

Kindergarten-5th grade

No matter if you are a teacher, a parent, or a church leader, your hope is to be able to connect the love and worship of God to good decision-making for your elementary school students. We provide a strategy designed to help reinforce this thought by centering on three basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52. By 5th grade, we want our kids to own and understand these three basic truths.

Jr. High: 6th-8th grade

Our student leaders are committed to help each student see God for who He is, to see themselves the way God sees them and to love others the way He loves us. By using relevant content, conversations, and relationships, our goal is for each student to know those truths by the time they graduate.

High School: 9th-12th grade

High school students attend main service with their parents. We offer a midweek program and events for high school students to connect with their friends and leaders.

Coming with kids?

Your kid's safety and security at SVCC is of utmost importance. All our volunteers are screened and background checked. We utilize a secure check-in process for your child. To expedite the check in process on your first visit, you are encouraged to fill out the New Family Form ahead of time.

Midweek

We know it is important for our youth and come together each week to connect and share what God is doing in their daily lives. We offer weekly groups for all ages.

PreK - 5th Grade

Every Wednesday at Your Campus

Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey.
