At South Valley Community Church our ministry to kids is much more than goldfish crackers and Bible trivia. We have a bigger vision for children and our volunteer team are the lifeblood of that vision.
Rather than seeing this ministry as just information transfer, we have a mentoring mindset that emphasizes authentic relationships. This is why in Kidstown, AWANA, Crash and HSM we have a small group format that follows the large group worship experience. We refer to our volunteers as small group leaders and we train them as such.
