Cambodia is a land of tropical forests, winding rivers and vibrant culture. Yet reports at an estimated 50 million people are held in slavery today. Cambodia is a source, transit and destination for labor and sex trafficking.  SVCC partners directly with the International Justice Mission Cambodia field office, a global nonprofit that works to strengthen protection for Cambodian and migrant workers. Since opening in 2016 the Cambodia office has rescued 1,600+ from human trafficking, 50+ criminals convicted for trafficking crimes, and trained 1,600+ police officers and government officials.
